"Killer" James Monroe wins with Hitman 12° Heads

James Monroe wins at Norwalk

James Monroe from KillerRONS.COM has been collecting plenty of wins again in 2010 with his Pro-Filer 12 Degree Hitman Heads on his Steve Schmidt Competition Engines 585" BBC.

Monroe captured wins in the first two Muncie Dragway MEGA-4.30 Series races qualifying on the pole position at both events. Using methanol injection and nitrous oxide Monroe recorded a 4.300 at over 160 MPH in the April event with ambient temperatures that never got above 50 degrees. Two months later he carded a 4.299 at just under 160 MPH with the same tune-up in temperatures nearing 90 degrees.

After heartbreaking NHRA Top Dragster semi-final finishes at the first two events of the season Monroe broke through with a victory at Route 66 Dragway in Joliet, Illinois on June 13. After qualifying in the 10th position with 6.761 at 196 MPH the Bloomington, IN resident waded through five rounds of intense competition to take the win as he picked-up his 13th NHRA "Wally".

Monroe followed up with another win at Norwalk recently, giving him three back to back wins including an NHRA Divisional and National Event Win! He's now leading in three NHRA points series, NHRA Division 3 Top Dragster, Top Dragster Jeg's All Stars and Jeg's Super Quick Points. That's quite a testiment to his racing talent, and to the equipment he uses!

We're proud to see James in the winners circle! Congrat's James!!

The Profiler 12* heads continue to work flawlessly with the methanol as I qualified #1 with a 4.509 and ten hours later in the final round went a 4.506. Unfortunately that particular series has a 4.50 elapsed time minimum as this car will runinto the low 4.30's with no nitrous. Thanks again for the great product!
