When Mcilvain Racing was ready to update their racing program they chose Pro-Filer Performance Products to top off each of their new engine combinations.

The Top Dragster car driven by Dean Mcilvain and a Super Comp Dragster driven by Amber Mclvain are both 582 cid engines. The Top Dragster is toped with Pro-Filer Hitman 12 degree cylinder heads and a Hitman cast tunnel ram intake manifold with two carbs. This combination has made the car a consistent threat every time it rolls up to the starting line.

The Super Comp Dragster is the same 582 cid but toped with the Sniper X 24 degree conventional cylinder heads and a Sniper single plain intake manifold. With this combo Amber has been as fast as 4.49 at 154 mph in the 1/8 mile and runs 8.90 at over 184 mph in Super Comp. When running off of the stop she has been 7.19 at 189 mph.

Mcilvain says "We can lean on the Top Dragster with just a small shot and qualify in the top 10 consistently and that says a lot with all of the bigger engines and blower combinations running in this class. We can then unhook the nitrous and go run the Jegs Series and be at the top of the field in that class also. This car has been 6.64 at 207 mph with a 24n / 22f set up and only spraying for 5 seconds. With Amber's Super Comp car we never imagined that she would run the numbers that she's putting up.
